The Certified Special is a monolithic trigger featuring a pivot safety for a clean
engagement, encouraging consistent trigger breaks. The trigger is USPSA approved, and
permitted in IPSC Standard, Optics, and Open divisions.
The Certified Special delivers three key improvements on the ACE Trigger System:
1) Frame-decoupled safety – We engineered the lever and transfer bar to provide the
safety function independent of frame tolerances. It’s now fully within our
manufacturing control.
2) Redesigned safety stop – Updated geometry broadens compatibility across real-
world frame tolerances.
3) TMDE pad – A small feature on the lever module that helps range officers verify the
lever safety is functioning properly.
The trigger also features an updated backplate with a relief pocket that increases
clearance to the striker under extreme shock conditions. No changes were made to the
Sear module. Taken together, these updates deliver a significant improvement in drop
safety and impact robustness for the ACE Trigger System.
